Yes! As long as you are over the age of 18 and don’t have any of our medical contradictions, you are suitable to have this treatment. This is because our technologies allow us to customise the treatment to suit your skin type and concerns.

Your therapist will sit with you during a consultation to discuss your facial concerns and will then be able to advise which facial and technologies are best suited to help you.

The treatments last anywhere between 30 – 45 minutes depending on which facial you have. Your therapist will be able to advise on the length of treatment based on your facial selection.

During this treatment you will experience varying sensations depending on the technologies that are used by your therapist. However, the overall feeling is very relaxing, cooling and completely pain free. Our skin lifting technology may trigger slight twitching due to the muscle contractions caused by the treatment, but this is normal and does not cause any discomfort.

Because Hydrafacial is a non-invasive procedure using hydradermabrasion, (which means it uses water and suction to clean and clear the skin) it is well tolerated by most people.

It will not cause rashes, inflammation, or peeling as seen with other facials or skincare products. With no irritation, you can apply make-up right after. Following aftercare advice will extend the results of your Hydrafacial and reduce the risk of any side effects.

The results from this treatment will vary depending on which facial you choose. However, all of these facials result in a smooth, hydrated and glowing appearance. Our anti-ageing facials will also display a tightened finish to the skin while our congestion facial will help with skin texture and bacteria.

We recommend Hydra Facial every 2 to 4 weeks depending on the skin concern you would like to target. Treatment results are visible after the second treatment and these will continue to improve throughout the duration of the course.

There is no aftercare required, however we strongly recommend that you protect your skin with a physical SPF 40+. Your dedicated skin Aesthetician will also be able to recommend skincare products from our medical grade skincare range Alumier that are suitable to your skin type to assist in your home regime to help maintain results. 

1. You may experience increased bruising if you are on blood thinners or aspirin.
2. After the procedure your skin may feel a bit sensitive for a couple of hours afterwards.
3. You may experience minor swelling of or around your eyes or lips.
4. During the treatment you may feel a cool and soothing scrub-like sensation.

• If you are pregnant or breast feeding,
• If you have recently had light or laser treatment, chemical peel, facial steroid injection, cosmetic injectables, recent microdermabrasion, facial waxing, surgical procedure, sun burn, skin infection or recent changes in growths or moles in the area treated area.

You should defer treatment If you have any of the following active or unstable medical conditions:

• Epilepsy
• Cancer
• Autoimmune disease
• Diabetes
